I create hand made functional tableware drawing on the rich tradition of the 20th century Studio ceramics. I have developed my own contemporary design and decoration and currently produce two ranges. The first black and white and the second soda fired which have an element of serendipity and unpredictability making each piece unique.

"It is all about food really, though we too often take it for granted. Food you see is a basic necessity, whereas cuisine is not. But just eating to survive is not what makes us human; what makes us different from other animals is our passion for flavour, fragrance, texture and colour; in short our joy in the sensual experience of dining. The art of the potter is to enhance that experience and make the food taste even better."
